Title:  “Recent trends in VLSI technology”

Resource person/agency and affiliation:  Dr. Manish Jain, Associate Professor, EEE department, Mandsaur University, Mandsaur (M.P.)

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Mandsaur University Organized a Workshop on “Recent trends in VLSI technology” on April 19, 2024 for B.Tech Students. 

The resource person of the workshop was Dr. Manish Jain, Associate Professor, EEE department. In his expert talk, he explained the fundamentals of VLSI circuits, their practical aspects and its utilization in the various applications.

He pointed out flow diagram of VLSI design, companies working under the technologies. During his lecture he shared the examples of Layout and Schematic design and brief about VHDL language.

He pointed out how to fabricate the bottom up and top down approach for futuristic Design.

At the end of the workshop HOD EEE Mr. Virendra Jain motivated all the students to learn practical aspects of theoretical concepts through such types of workshop.

Outcome: The workshop presents overview of VLSI Design and its real time industrial applications.

• To make aware about  VLSI flow cycle and its application
• To offer the practical guidelines of various approach in layout design
• To make aware about latest trends in VLSI Technologies.
