Title:  Online Workshop on “Micro-grid Scheduling via MATLAB”.

Brief description / remarks: The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mandsaur University (M.P.) has organized an online workshop on “Micro-grid Scheduling via MATLAB”.  B. Tech students of the V and VII semesters attended the workshop. This workshop’s main aim was to acquaint students with Economic load dispatch and economic scheduling Microgrid. In this workshop, economic load dispatch of microgrid scheduling and their implementation were done in MATLAB. To perform the Economic load dispatch of the Microgrid considering the operational constraints, various optimization algorithm such as particle swarm optimization (PSO) and Equilibrium Optimizer were also discussed and microgrid scheduling using these optimization methods were implemented in MATLAB.

Outcome: To make student aware of Microgrid scheduling  and optimization algorithm.
