Dr. R.K. Garg, Joint project Director, MPCST, Bhopal as Chief Guest at Faculty of Life Sciences organized workshop
The Joint project Director and Head, Centre of Excellence in Biotechnology, M.P. Council of Science and technology (MPCST), Bhopal, Dr. R.K. Garg has been invited as chief guest for the inaugural session of two days workshop on “Microbial Biotechnology Approach For Profiling Industrially Important Fungi” organized by Faculty of Life Sciences on 9-10th March, 2021. In his key address to participants, he has discussed about various activities and schemes of MPCST for the students, faculties and institutions in details. He has also emphasized on the bright prospects of Microbiology and Biotechnology and different government funding schemes for start-up in this sector with innovative idea. Dr. Shailendra Sharma, Vice Chancellor of Mandsaur Univeristy has briefed about the research activities and schemes running by the university for the development of student’s in his inaugural address.
Dr. R.K. Garg has visited entire Mandsaur University Campus and appreciated the efforts and schemes of MU like MURC, III-Cell etc. for the research based development of students and faculties. During his visit to department of Life sciences, he has visited all the laboratories (Bioinstrumentation, Biosafety, PTC, Microbiology and Biotechnology) and appraised the availability of advanced and functioning instrumentation facility. He has also interacted in person with M.Sc. students, guided them and briefed about various training and dissertation activities of MPCST, Bhopal available at PG level.
